District Chair, Chris Hardee has appointed four former District Officers to serve as a Nominating Committee. They will be recommending a slate of officers to lead the 3rd District over the next 2 years. If you have interest in serving or want to recommend someone, please contact them by email at email@example.com. We will be electing a Chair, three Vice Chairs, Secretary and Treasurer as defined in the NCDP Plan of Organization.
If you have individual resolutions or ones approved by your County Convention please send them to the District Secretary (Liz Cox) at firstname.lastname@example.org (preferred) or mail at 409 Academy Street, Oriental, NC 28571. Ideally resolutions should be submitted electronically in an editable format. Based on submissions, a Resolutions Committee may be appointed to consider any resolutions submitted. Resolutions approved by County Conventions will be heard at the district level if submitted on time. Any other resolutions will be vetted by the committee in advance of the District Convention. All Resolutions to be considered must be submitted in writing by Friday, May 1, 2013.
In interest of not having too many duplicate events on Facebook, the 3rd District is utilizing the open-invite event created by the Onslow County Democratic Party. If you are a Facebook user, you can join the event and receive additional updates there.
